Rex Harrison was famed for his urbane style, his mordant wit, his numerous wives and his truly appalling temper, quite apart from his legendary and much loved performance as Henry Higgins on both stage and screen. His fifth wife, Elizabeth said of him, "I was very fond of Rex before we were married, and even more fond of him after we were married - it ws the bit in between that was so difficult".
Both are "must read" and "must have" references for engineers and non-technical types!. BCN was not only a radio station that played all the coolest, most upcoming music anywhere, but it was the voice and soul of the young people of Boston. Foster is a well-respected historian and he really did a fantastic job with this book. At best there might be a quick mention if the written text glossing over the information.
I usually like to think I can find something redeeming in any (technical) book but not in this one. Businesses today need to be both sustainable and resilient. Too many of the stories are written in a cold, detached style that neither grabs the reader nor suits the topic. If you are considering this one, you might want to get the Arthur Schnabel version. I'm more alert, I have more life in me, I'm more energetic.
