With his help you will begin to understand the purpose, promise and paradox of parables and will come to know better than ever before the One who told them. IMHO, for more experienced users who might just want to know Ubuntu, I think a command reference or summarized type of book would be better & for the complete new user probably just the Ubuntu Guides are a better place to start.
