I struggled to find a lot in the book that could be related to the average person's business. Each quilt brought out a lesson based on scripture that would carry her faith forward and honor the memories of her mother and grandmother. As a women's clothing retailer, I found this book to be "coffee table material" in my shop. While not everyone knows the name of John Newton, everyone knows his song and at least a bit of his story. I will be using it in an LGBT Legal Issues class this Fall.
