When I read Esperanza rising I could feel what she was going through and her emotions because the writer used told it in showing not telling form so I could feel what she was going through.
Even though I don't know what it feels like to loose a loved one like your dad; I felt like I did know how it felt because once again the writer used showing not telling words.
