Whitney's book is a great conclusion to this trilogy, but more than that it gives readers what we've waited for - Whitney in all her "goodness and light" glory. Not what I expected but cute in it's own fashion. His account of his service on her, how he survived her sinking and the emotional toll it took on him are as vivid as only he could describe it.
