His account of his service on her, how he survived her sinking and the emotional toll it took on him are as vivid as only he could describe it. Highly recommended.. My A&P school requires this book for airframe classes. It starts with the basics of image acquisition, signal analysis, DICOM, and segmentation. Burton is certainly one of the best vibes players in not just jazz, but music in general. This is a pattern throughout the book: they describe a topic, survey the approaches, show where each has its strengths and weaknesses, and point you to where you can find more information if you need it.
