I am not happy with this book. My doctor told me that he was going to prescribe medication to bring my cholesterol down and that I'd be on it for life. It is a hardcover book with regular paper pages, in case you need to know for little hands. It is set in a world where children can be born with special powers. But the most unique and useful feature (as well as the greatest delight -- and why this is a true classic), are the illustrations - hundreds of beautifully drawn colour plates painted from life (often in the most demanding of circumstances), that will allow you to settle important questions like "Is that a Woolly False Vampire Bat or a Great False Vampire Bat that just bit you" without flaming your travelling companions. In an instant, I understood the subtle manipulations underlying ALL bad management practices - and even most of my schooling and some of my parent's parenting! I was finally able to put into words the sense of manipulation and powerlessness I felt in many situat
